ŠRAML pneumatic press VP11e
The pneumatic batch press is designed for pressing fruit mash. Pressing is performed in a horizontally-placed cylinder with an inflating membrane. The membrane is inflated and presses fruit mash against perforated channels and drain elements through which the juice is forced out, and drained into the collection tray under the cylinder.
The pressing is done in batches; after filling the press with fruit mash trough the central inlet, several pressing
cycles are executed, until the desired results is achieved.
Better extraction is obtained by mixing the mash between multiple pressings cycles to expose the fresh surface near the draining components. This mixing step is accomplished by rotating the horizontal cylinder and re-inflating the membrane to provide pressure on the mash.
